We had
beautiful weather and a great group of pugs for a Labor Day Parade on
Monday, September 1! The parade started in Menasha and went to Neenah, and
the pugs went the whole route! Our entry started off with a
beautifully decorated wagon (thanks to Peggy & Mark Dahl). Our theme
was "Pugs & Kisses," and we handed out Hershey's Kisses to
the crowd. The wagon
had water for the pugs and music tunes including "Who Let The Dogs
Out," "Bad To The Bone," and "Gimme Some Lovin'."
The wagon was followed by a large group of pugs, and an SUV with "Fox
Valley Pug Lovers" banners. James Taylor even brought up the rear
with an air-conditioned car just in case a pug needed to cool down. We
were by FAR one of the most popular entries, and the pugs brought smiles
to hundreds of people. The Post-Crescent shot lots of pictures of us, and
we were the only parade entry to make it in the paper on September 2.
Below are some pictures from the event, along with the Post-Crescent
article. Enjoy!
